As part of the 100 PhD scholarship centenary celebration at the University of Leicester, we are excited to announce a PhD opportunity to work with Dr Alice Samson with support from the Tobacco, Health and History team to explore intoxicants in archaeological material culture from the Caribbean. This fully funded PhD will start in September and is based at the School of Archaeology and Ancient History here at Leicester.
This is a fantastic opportunity that would suit someone with a science background, or with archaeological science masters degree, although other experiences in allied fields will also be considered. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Dr Samson or Dr Inskip. For more information and to apply, please click this link (it is under School of Archaeology and Ancient History section in the Colleges of Arts, Social Science and Humanities).
